Women's snowboards aren't simply scaled-down men's models. They have their own geometry: the waist width (the middle of the board) is narrower to match women's typically smaller feet. This lets you switch from edge to edge much more smoothly, quickly, and instinctively. What's more, their internal structure is lighter and features a softer flex, suited to lighter builds. The result: the board flexes easily under your pressure without you needing to force it, sparing you sore thighs by the end of the day.

In snowboarding, the slightest foot pain can ruin a session. Since the female calf's shape differs from a man's (the muscle sits lower), our boots feature lower cuffs that flare out at the back to eliminate painful pressure points. We select models offering excellent ankle support to prevent your heel from lifting during turns, while guaranteeing enhanced thermal insulation to keep your feet warm even in bitter cold.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about women's snowboards

  • Why are women's snowboards narrower than men's models?

The waist width (the middle of the board) is reduced to match women's typically smaller shoe sizes. This allows you to switch from edge to edge more quickly and naturally, without excessive effort.

  • Is the softer flex also suitable for advanced riders?

The softer flex is mainly designed for lighter builds and makes the board easier to handle. Advanced riders looking for more responsiveness and high-speed grip should instead look at our stiffer black range.

  • Why are women's boots different from men's boots?

The female calf's shape means the muscle sits lower. Our women's boots therefore have a lower cuff that flares out at the back to eliminate pressure points, while offering good ankle support and enhanced thermal insulation.

  • Which range should I choose based on my level?

The blue range suits beginners looking to progress with confidence. The versatile red range lets you move from groomed piste to ungroomed edges. The more technical black range is for advanced riders seeking high-speed grip or pop for freestyle.
