Teen Skis
High-performance equipment suited to their build, letting young skiers show off their style and keep pace with the adults.
In summary
Welcome to the space dedicated to the resort's future great skiers. This section brings together our selection of teen skis, specially designed for young people aged 13 to 17 who are over 1.60m tall. Whether they're after the ease of gradual learning, the comfort of an intermediate model, or the responsiveness of a more technical profile for freestyle and piste skiing, you'll find the ideal equipment here to match their level. Explore our different categories below, from the Blue and Red ranges to Black.
Teen skis
At over 1.60m tall and with good technical skill, your teen is no longer a child on the slopes. They're after high-performance equipment to push their limits. Our teen skis offer the same technical characteristics as adult models: maneuverable, precise, and stable, they're designed to maximize the enjoyment of skiing.
Depending on their preferences, they can go for one of two profiles: piste-oriented skis for racking up speed and stringing together big, smooth turns, or twin-tip freestyle skis to tame the snowpark and ride in both directions with total freedom.
Equipment suited to their transition to adult gear
During adolescence, physical demands change and the need for technical equipment grows. That's why our range is designed to bridge the gap between children's skis and adult models, offering the sturdiness and stability needed to support their increasing speed. Choosing the right category means guaranteeing them equipment that respects their still-developing build, while giving them the confidence needed to try more advanced skiing techniques or new disciplines safely.
It's always better with a helmet!
Often mandatory in snowparks, a helmet is also strongly recommended on the slopes. It will effectively protect your teen in the event of a fall or collision.
Ski safely!
Make the most of your mountain holiday. By adding comprehensive ski insurance when booking, you're compensated in the event of theft or breakage of your ski equipment. This compensation also protects you if your stay has to be cancelled or interrupted.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about teens
-
What's the difference between teen skis and adult skis?
Teen skis are specially designed for their build. They're lighter, more flexible, and more maneuverable than adult skis, letting them progress without tiring themselves out. What's more, the designs are often closer to what they like (freestyle or freeride style)!
-
My teen is nearly 1.80m tall — should they rent from the adult or teen range?
If your teen has exceeded standard sizing or has an excellent ski level, it's better to switch to an adult range. Teen equipment might be too flexible for their build. If in doubt, our ski technicians will fine-tune the choice in-store.
-
What if the boots become too small or hurt during the week?
No problem! Teens grow fast, and comfort is essential for a good holiday. You can come back to the store at any time to exchange the boots (or skis) for a different size, at no extra cost.
