Beginner Junior Skis
Are your children taking their first steps on the snow or learning to control their turns? Our Blue Junior Ski range has been specially developed to support young beginner skiers as they learn. Thanks to ultra-lightweight, supple, and easy-to-handle equipment, they can discover the joys of skiing with total confidence and safety in the beginners' area.
In summary
The Blue Junior range brings together initiation and progression skis dedicated to beginner children and teenagers. Designed to make turning and speed control easy, these lightweight and forgiving skis allow young skiers to learn effortlessly and progress at their own pace on green and blue runs.
What am I renting, exactly?
When you book, you select a ski category rather than a specific model. When handing over your skis in store, our ski technicians select the most suitable skis for your child's height, weight, and comfort.
Immediate handling for fun learning
Because first experiences on the slopes shape future enjoyment of skiing, our Blue Junior range focuses on lightness and forgiveness. These are soft, flexible skis that turn almost by themselves, allowing your child to master the snowplough and stop without putting too much strain on their legs. The result? They stay smiling, gain confidence, get tired less quickly... and you enjoy your holiday with total peace of mind.
If your child is attending ski school (ESF or other), the Blue Junior range is perfectly suited and recommended by instructors for preparing basic beginner badges (such as Ourson and Flocon). Don't forget to add a helmet as an option during your booking: it is compulsory in most ski classes and essential for complete peace of mind on the slopes!
Safety and comfort at the heart of our Junior range
At Sport 2000, we know that children's equipment demands rigorous attention. That is why all skis in our Beginner Junior range undergo meticulous workshop preparation (tailored waxing and edge tuning) to guarantee smooth and safe handling. In resort, our technicians select the ideal ski length based on your child's height and weight, adjusting the bindings precisely according to current safety standards.

How do I know if my child needs beginner or intermediate skis?
If your child has never skied before or is still mastering the snowplough, the Beginner Junior ski is perfect. If they can make parallel turns, control their speed on blue runs, and are starting to try red slopes, opt for the Intermediate Junior range.
