From 14th December 2018, the resort of Avoriaz opens its skis slopes, to the delights of skiers, snowboarders and all winter sports lovers. This is why it is time to think about waxing your skis, fitting yourself out with the right outdoor clothes and booking your ski equipment. By renting your equipment on Sport 2000 website, you will get up to 50% discount on Alpine, freeride and freestyle skis, miniskis or even snowboards, to enjoy holidays in the mountains for a small price.
And on the occasion of this official opening, a lot of activities will take place as part of « Rock on Snow » event:
- About sixty winter sports brands will be there so you can try the new equipment of the season and get advice to find the right pair of skis or the right board.
- Activites will occur in a dedicated area, with a Parallel Giant playful course, a night hiking, little contests for everyone, a slope with bumps, etc.
- A “Fluo Rando” is organized in partnership with Dynastar: you will have the chance to choose bewteen 2 courses, one with 235 meters D+ and another one with 375 meters D+ for the most courageaous skiers. And hot wine and a fondue will be waiting for you at the end of the competition!
- There will be special events during the evening in the whole resort as well as free screenings.
