Sport 2000 has been founded in 1966 thanks to three famous football players Pierre Batteux, Just Fontaine and Jean Djorkaeff.

Since this date, the company has gradually grown and leveraged the product offerings far beyond the major sport segments:

• 1982: implementation of the ski rental service in resort.
• 2003: implementation of the brand S2, specialist of fashion and sport shoes.
• 2006: implementation of the brand Mondovelo, specialist of biking.
• 2009: implementation of the brand Espace Montagne, specialist of outdoor.

Sport 2000 counts today more than 500 shops in France, circa the half settled in ski resorts.
