Even though skiing is great fun, it is still a physically demanding sporting activity and you may suffer from injuries if you are in bad physical condition.

We recommend preparing your body with pre-skiing workouts in order to prevent your holiday from being marred by pain and injury. The earlier you start, the fitter you will be. Try running or roller skating to get your fitness levels up.

If you are not keen on sport, try including some basic exercises into your daily routine, such as climbing stairs, walking or cycling. Your muscles and joints will become stronger and more resistant to the strains of skiing.

Finish your training sessions with some stretching exercises to help your muscles recover, and make sure you do the same before and after a day on the slopes!
