Arc 2000 is the highest area of the Les Arcs resort, which itself belongs to the commune of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. It sits at 2,000 meters above sea level, just above Arc 1950. This makes it the perfect destination for those seeking the best snow conditions and immediate access to the ski slopes.
Arc 2000 also has the advantage of being a small, cozy resort, ideal for a relaxed ski holiday. Of course, it offers all the amenities needed for a successful stay, including 2 Sport 2000 ski shops for equipment rental.
Arc 2000 is one of the highest mountain resorts in France. With skis on your feet, you can descend several slopes toward Arc 1950 or take the lifts to reach the Aiguille Rouge at 3,226 meters and its red and black runs, or descend toward Villaroger and the other slopes of Les Arcs.
It is a true paradise for winter sports enthusiasts, whether for alpine skiing, snowboarding, freeride skiing, sledding, and more. Don’t worry—even beginners will enjoy it, as there is a ESF children’s ski garden and many blue runs.
At Arc 2000, you can easily do everything on foot, and despite its small size, the resort has all the essential shops and services: a grocery store, sports shops, spa, laundromat, concierge, and more.
For entertainment and après-ski activities, you’ll also find several bars, restaurants, and a bowling alley. There is plenty to do after skiing!
To vary your experience, you can also easily visit the charming Arc 1950 resort, connected to Arc 2000 by the Cabriolet gondola. By taking the slopes or a bus connection, you can also reach Arc 1600, and if you want a festive moment at the Folie Douce, head directly to Arc 1800.
