From 15th to 22nd December, Val Thorens welcomes a major festival dedicated to board sports: Ski Boarderweek. You will have the opportunity to take part in lots of activites for skiers and snowboarders, but also to liven things up during concerts and après-ski parties.

This main event of December will allow you to try new winter sports and to have fun on the skiing area:
- You will have the chance to try ski equipment for free, among items displayed by the greatest ski brands, including some products which are available in Eskiador (Elan, Nordica, etc.)
- Go to the Easy Fun Park to devote yourself to freestyle skiing or snowboarding and to benefit from advice given by experts to improve your technique, whatever your level! And on Thursday, 20th December, a contest will take place to reward the best skiers.
- In the resort of Val Thorens, you will also be able to access to a fun area, including a Big Air Bag and a Bungee Ejection, as well as Volley-Ball and Dodge Ball tournaments.
- You will have the opportunity to discover the skiing area of Val Thorens in a great atmosphere during group outings with skiers who have quite the same level as yours.

In addition to those sledging activites, Ski and Boarderweek is the opportunity to meet your friends during several events:
- Free open-air concert performed by Marsimoto Soundsystem on Wednesday 19th December.
- 6 other famous bands playing electronic music, reggae and hip-hop will enliven the resort during après-ski.
- Some DJs will play in the most festive spots of Val Thorens: on the snowbase during après-ski and in clubs during 3 nights.
