Take part in the 20th year of Le Challenge des Vieilles Tiges in Chantemerle

In Serre-Chevalier, all ages groups have their own ski race! For the 20th year, the 'Challenge des Vieilles Tiges', for people from 35 years old, is coming back in Chantemerle.
This free event gathers ski lovers from all walks of life, who are ready to fight the finish in a friendly atmosphere. The day will be made up of 3 parts:

  • The start of the Giant Slalom on Ratier stadium at 10 am.
  • A lunch to share with the other participants after the race.
  • A nice evening in a mountain restaurant on the heights of Chantemerle, the Café du Soleil.

So, you can easily understand that there will a time for skiing, but also a time to fill up and to have fun. If you want to join in, you just have to register by getting in touch with the ski school of Serre-Chevalier Chantemerle.
And of course, you can hire your pair of skis and your boots in our shop, located at the bottom of the slopes. Between the entry-level models, the skis for intermediate skiers and the models for the regular skiers, the choice is yours. Whatever the equipment you choose, one thing is for sure: you will get some skis that we have selected from the best winter sports brands, in order that you can perform well and enjoy skiing, regardless of your level.
Besides, don't forget to keep safe by renting a ski helmet, from only €5,60 a day.
