Leaving your own trail on the fresh snow, following a path that you can't reach on skis and discovering the secret places of Isola 2000 with guides: here's what you can expect on 23rd February. The snowshoe day is a perfect event to try snowshoe hiking for the first time and to enjoy a walk in the snow with some other mountain enthusiasts.
But how does this day unfold? From 9:30 am, come and meet the team on Isola 2000 snow front to sign up and enjoy a hot drink. Then, you will be able to choose among several hikes:
- One of the 5 starts for an introduction to snowshoe hiking, lasting between 1h30 and 2h (starts from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, every hour).
- A 4-hour walk to discover the wildlife of the skiing area, with a picnic in the mountains.
- A more challenging hike, to explore most of the skiing area during more than 4 hours, with a picnic lunch.
Thus, everyone, whatever their age and their shape, can take part in this friendly activity.
Some instructive activities will also take place, in order that you can venture alone to the hiking paths during the rest of your stay.
The gear will be supplied during this snowshoe day, but you will have to rent or buy your own equipment if you want to go for other strolls during your holidays.
