- Adapt your clothes to winter sports in high mountain
Val Thorens is a resort reaching an altitude of more than 2,300 meters, which allows to get an amazing snow quality. As a consequence, each ski lover has to find the right clothes to face the most extreme conditions.
We advise you to wear three layers of technical clothes, so you can stay warm and dry throughout the day. Besides, wearing a pair of sunglasses or a ski mask is unavoidable, and wearing a helmet is highly recommended.
In order to protect the tips, we advise you to wear socks made up of merino wool or silk and Gore-Tex waterproof gloves. You also have to apply a high factor sunscreen.
