The most famous ski school in France is the ESF (Ecole du Ski Français), which has 250 different schools and 17,000 instructors. Private or group skiing lessons are available in the following disciplines: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, freeride, disabled skiing, telemark skiing and snowshoeing. Children aged 3 and over can join the Piou-Piou Club to learn how to ski in a fun and safe way.
Private schools like ESI and Evolution 2 also employ qualified instructors to teach various different disciplines.
