The first lucky holiday-makers have trodden on the slopes of Val Thorens from Saturday, enjoying the sun shining on the skiing area during the whole weekend.
If you are already on site, or if your skiing holidays are going to start soon, here are some activités for kids and adults, that will take place in Val Tho in February!

Valentine's Day at the top of the ski slopes

You are spending a stay in the mountains with your beloved? This week, Val Thorens gives you the chance to celebrate your love on the skiing area:

  • Make a declaration of love on giant screens at the departure of the ski lifts, by going to the Tourist Office.
  • Come and pick up a nice rose to offer at the Tourist Office.
  • Play the big treasure hunt on the slopes and the pedestrian paths: some hearts are hidden, and if you find one of several of them, you will be rewarded by a gift from Club Val Thorens. Think about the rental of skis or snowshoes to explore the area, looking for these hearts!

A special day for the children, on the occasion of the 'Tournée Pitch'

On 21st February, the kids will have the opportunity to be a part of many activities on the snow front. As each year, the brand Pasquier sets up in the greatest French ski resorts with a lot of activities to offer. From mechanical rodeo to trampoline, including runs on the snow and the making of snowmen, every child will find something to have fun!

Of course, there will also be a little snack and hot chocolate for the kids, as well as games to win some gifts.

Look up at the stars in Val Thorens

The mountains are a perfect place to observe the sky, including at night. Val Thorens ski resort and its pop-up planetarium often offer some events about astronomy, as it will occur from 23rd to 28th February.
For free, you will be able to discover the secrets of stars and planets, to gaze at the sky through a telescope, to attend educational performances and to go to exhibitions about life in the universe, aurora borealis and meteorites.
These are some unique moments to share with the family or with some friends after spending a good day skiing or snowboarding in Les 3 Vallées!
